Henry

I’ve never felt anything as amazing as being inside Maggie. It’s more than just physical sensation; it really feels as if I’ve found a part of me that’s been missing all my life.

I glance down at her face, her eyes closed and her mouth open as she cries out her pleasure, and I know won’t be able to last long.

If I have my way, there will be plenty more opportunities.

“Baby girl, you’re so beautiful,” I whisper in her ear. “The things you do to me. I thought I had good self-control before I met you. Turns out, I’ve just never really been tempted before.”

She moves underneath me, raising her hips a bit to meet each stroke, and those crystal-clear blue eyes open and stare right into mine.

“Henry, I—“

My heart stops for a beat; is it possible she feels the same way I do, no matter how irrational it might be?

“I’m coming,” she gasps.

I can’t feel too upset, even if she didn’t say what I was hoping for, as her muscles clench and then suddenly release.

She cries out wordlessly as she comes, and I can’t hold back anymore. Within a few strokes, I’m spilling myself deep inside her.

“That was amazing,” she gasps.

I lean in and kiss her gently.

“Life-changing,” I agree.

I lay down beside her, and within minutes she’s asleep, her head resting against my chest.

I feel the tug of sleepiness that only a good orgasm can cause, but I have a lot to think about and not very much time.

I finally make a decision, and manage a couple hours sleep until I feel her stir against me.

“Good morning, beautiful,” I say, pressing a kiss to her lips. “How did you sleep?”

She laughs. “Amazingly well. Someone tired me out.”

“Someone’s not sorry,” I reply with a smile. “Let’s order breakfast. I have something I want to speak with you about while we eat.”

She looks at me, worried. “You can’t just spring something like that on me and expect me to wait until breakfast is here. We can order, but then you have to tell me what you’re talking about.”

“That’s fair,” I say.

I make a quick room service order as she runs to the bathroom. She comes back smelling like toothpaste, the worried look still on her face.

I gesture for her to sit on the couch next to me and then I take her hands in mine.

“This is where you tell me this was a mistake and I can’t ever tell anyone about it, right?” she whispers.

“Oh, sweetheart,” I say. I hadn’t even considered she might be afraid I thought it was a mistake. “No. Last night was the best night of my entire life. I’ve never felt about anyone the way I feel about you.”

Her cheeks color. “We only just met. You don’t even know me.”

“Do you believe in soulmates?” I ask her.

She shakes her head, not meeting my gaze. “That’s silly.”

“I didn’t ask if it was silly. I asked if you believe in it.”

She finally meets my eyes. “If you’d asked me forty-eight hours ago, I would have said no.
